Frequently asked questions

How deep should pea gravel be?

2 inches for paths and decorative areas; 3 inches if you want a softer, deeper surface. Going deeper than 3 inches makes walking difficult.

Should I use edging with pea gravel?

Yes — pea gravel migrates without an edge restraint. Edging keeps it in place and reduces top-ups.
